Musical Theatre

At a very young age, I knew I had to be on stage. I was bright and bubbly and could sing my little heart out where and whenever. My family did a bit of the von Trapp thing and sang in a traveling musical called The Witness for several years. From there on out I performed all the way through high school. But like many people, that performing bug was lost when it was time to grow up and find a job. That is until a retired Broadway vocal coach heard me singing at my job and insisted I need to be on stage once again. The fire was rekindled! I visited my local community theatre and nailed my first audition in thirty years for the musical Newsies! I will be continuing this journey for as long as I can.

The make-up I used for my stage look was from Amazon and ended up being the best deal around. I found the links and listed them below.

I wasn’t too sure how to do all the contouring but after I tried it out, I found it had a really natural look that brought out my own colors.

I loved how elegant and movie star glam I felt using all these different powders and such.

M.A.C Lustreglass Lipstick – Shade: 548 Beam There, Done That ** little side note about this shade. It’s the replacement shade to 501 Capricious – the color Lana Parrilla wore as the Reina/Evil Queen in Once Upon a Time.

Morphe Blend the Rules: Vintage Rose I loved the dusty rose multi shades in this palette.

I absolutely love MAC lipsticks! They are light in weight, do not dry out your lips, and the color lasts for hours. I’ll never buy another brand of lip color.
